A very detailed swirl design is hand cut from two silver discs before being domed and wired shut. Before closing, 3 oversized gems or crystals are trapped inside where they let out sparkles through the graceful bars of their gorgeous (if not exactly gilded) cage. The richly ornate pendant hangs from a lush 18" silver chain.

Called the Wedding Ball around the Scarlet Robin studios, further orders of this piece have been made for brides who have chosen beads in their wedding colors to enclose in the cage.
